Editrice Quadratum (2005 - 2009)
Monthly magazines publishing group. Includes La Cucina Italiana,the most popular and influential cooking magazine in Italy

Development of projects which, leveraging on the value of“La Cucina Italiana” brand, help the Editor to explore new opportunities related with new media

Conceived and leaded the issue of a DvdCooking course collection which was successfully distributed in attachment with the magazine at a premium price

Set up a feasability and business plan for the creation of a satellite tv channel using La Cucina Italiana brand. The plan was not implemented due to adverse market conditions in Italy

Conceived and leaded the creation of a premium content area within La Cucina Italiana site. The objective being to test the site users propension to pay for content, results have been considered successful achieving almost 1500 paying users in 10 months with a 17 euros a.r.p.u. and 0 communication investments

Leading the site complete restructuring, further to the test above, including new Web2.0functionalities (mypage, blog, widgets, user content upload and sharing, SMS content delivery). Responsabilities include new site editorial and concept design, mid and long term business objectives, technical supplier selection process, implementation supervising

Mobango (2008)
Market leading destination for mobile free content: it provides 4 millions mobile consumers worldwide with an online and mobile service platform to create, store, share, download and play every type of mobile content. Mobango is a UK company and operates out of its London, Milan and Munich offices.

Leading the development of the new Software and Games area and the restructuring of the Mobango web site design.

Responsabilities included the management of the whole process: concept, specifications definition, evaluation and hiring of external suppliers (technical developers), business development and marketing plans and implementation coordination.

Uvet-Amex (2007 -2008)
Business travel operator and consumer travel agencies network.Leader in Italy. JV between Uvet and American Express

Leading the development of, the first web 2.0 Italian community focused on travel.

Responsabilities include: businsess plan, marketing plan and implementation of activities to reach both consumer and agencies, addressing the development of the product, coordinating sw developpers activities, definition of the commercial plan including first contacts with potential sponsors (Travel Operators)

Bizmatica (2006-2007)
Italian provider of innovative technology solutions to ISPs and Telcos

Leading a BtoC project based on a new technology enhancing the digital delivery of videogames (streaming delivery of software)

Responsabilities included: business plan, start up of a newco, finance funding and merger of two companies specialized respectively on videogames digital download and online gaming.

Since Dec 06, responsabilities also included negotiation of distribution agreements with all major Italian Telcos, News and Games portals, negotiations with videogames publishers, sales and marketing operative plans

RCSBroadcast (2006-2007)
Radio and Tv information content provider. A business unit of RCS Group, italian leader in newspaper and magazines publishing industry

Business development on internet and mobile markets. Addressing company’s content generation know-how, historically focused on Radio and Tv, to exploit new media opportunities

Conceived and leaded the implementation ofpremium SMS news and meteo services to be delivered with both company brand and customers brand

Conception and leading of the implementation, first in Italy, of an on demand roads traffic information service. Users choose on line their path and period of time and are notified via email or SMS as soon as a traffic event occurs.

Responsabilities includes technical implementation supervising, selling proposition building as well as sales contacts and negotiations.

Elitel (2002 - 2006)
Independent Telco operator. Focused on voice, data and voip services to small and medium business companies

Leaded the harmonization process of sites and online services inherited by Elitel after merging seven local Telecom companies

Leaded the re-design and restructuring process of Elitel corporate site also including new online services to support the customer-related company’s functions such as customer care online support (Customer Support) and on line management of customer loyal program (Marketing)

Leaded the enhancement of Elitel’s community portal ( bringing monthly unique browsers from 40.000 to stable 120.000 in 1 year

Encharged of setting and implementing a plan to both attract new paying customers and increase existing customers arpu. The plan, leaded and implemented between apr 04 and apr 06,allowed the Online Division to track a record of monthly revenues from 4.000 Eu to 32.000 Eu.
